Biography
The Prima La Musica concert season in Vincennes was born in 2003. 20 years later, it brought together more than 1,000 musicians and 30,000 spectators for 200 concerts. Philip de la Croix, founder and artistic director of Prima La Musica, then set himself a new challenge: to create an orchestra intended to last, a project with a participatory dimension, the financing of which will be mainly ensured by private sponsorship and corporate sponsorship.
To carry out such a project, he joined forces with conductor Jean-Luc Tingaud and violinist Eva Zavaro.
The PLMO Prima La Musica Orchestra is a collective of young and brilliant performers chosen by affinities and all eager to take the orchestra to the highest level. He is regularly joined by renowned soloists such as pianist Bella Schütz and violinist Clara Saïtkoulov.
Independent, daring and enthusiastic, the Prima la Musica Orchestra aims to create a unique ‘sound’ based on high artistic standards and communicative energy.
The first stage of the adventure began with the music of Bach and his sons; a strong and assumed symbol to start with the “father” of Western music, the one whose musical grammar allowed the expression of all vocabularies.
